Why not paint?
Paint will fade over time just like your shutters did. Also, painting requires a significant amount of prepwork and clean up. Shutter ReNu is not pigmented and dries clear so any splatter will not be noticeable. The only prep work after cleaning is to open the Shutter ReNu container.Why is it better to apply Shutter ReNu to my existing shutters than to replace them?
Your initial and long-term costs will be several times lower than replacing. Replacement shutters will fade just as your current shutters have unless you protect them with Shutter ReNu. In addition, new shutters cannot not prevent growth of mold, mildew and algae, Shutter ReNu does.What is a Zero Risk Purchase?

Yes, but we would suggest using our Metal ReNu product for metal siding. We do not warrant Shutter ReNu on metal surfaces.Can I use Shutter ReNu on other surfaces?

No. Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner should be thoroughly rinsed after cleaning. Any Shutter ReNu that gets on windows should be cleaned quickly. Any Shutter ReNu that gets on other surfaces can be allowed to dry clear or rinsed with water quickly after accidental application.Will Shutter ReNu protect new shutters from fading?.

Dilute to a ratio of 10:1. That means that for every one part of Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner you add ten parts of water (i.e. 1 cup of Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner to 10 cups of water). We suggest using filtered water if you do not have city water.How much will I save by using Shutter ReNu?

Simply rinse with a garden hose once a year. If you need more aggressive cleaning, dilute the Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner to 20:1 and clean with a soft cloth.Is Shutter ReNu paint?
No. Shutter ReNu contains no pigments.What caused my shutters to fade?
Primarily, the harsh UV rays from the sun. Shutter ReNu will prevent the UV rays reaching your restored shutters keeping them beautiful for years.How long does it take to dry?
Shutter ReNu will try to the touch in about 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. However, do not apply Shutter ReNu if rain is forecasted within 24 hours of application.Will Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner clean artillery mold?
No. Use a razorblade to gently remove colonies then scrub vigorously with Professional Grade Vinyl ReNu Cleaner and a soft bristled brush.
