Thank you for purchasing DeckMAX Green.  You will find that enhancing the aesthetics of your high-end deck using DeckMAX Green is a simple, quick and enjoyable process.  There is no striping, sanding, messy stains or three to five days of not being able to use your deck as with wood decks.  

Application Instructions

1)       Remove patio furniture, children and pets.
Tip—Because of the rapid drying characteristics and no required cure times, you can move all of your furniture to one area of your deck, clean, dry and apply DeckMAX Green to that area.  Duplicate process on unconditioned area.  Keep children and pets off deck until dry as DeckMax Green can be harmful to children and pets until completely dry.

2)       Spot clean any obvious stains such as grease or dirt with a degreaser.  Hard to remove stains such as rust can be gently brushed with a dry wire brush prior to applying DeckMAX Green.  If stain persists rub lightly with DeckMAX Green on a rag.

3)       Completely rinse soap or degreaser ensuring there is no residue.
Tip—It is always important to ensure there is no cleaner residue on your deck.

4)       Allow your deck to dry completely.
Tip-The deck must be completely dry for optimal performance of DeckMAX Green.  Moisture on the deck can cause a spotty effect.  If this happens, simply ensure that area is completely dry and reapply.

5)       If your siding is faded, cover the areas touching your deck or DeckMAX Green will bring back color to your siding.
Tip—Deck Max Green will bring back color to faded vinyl siding.  Should you want your vinyl siding restored and looking as good as when you bought it please purchase a DIY Vinyl ReNu Kit.

6)       Please read the complete online and label instructions.  MSDS for DeckMAX Green available upon request.
Tip—Deck Max Green is a natural product with positive benefits to the environment.  As with all paints, stains, cleaners, etc. you should always read the directions. 

7)       Apply DeckMAX Green along the direction of the grain. 
Tip- We have found the optimal method of application is with a 100% cotton all white terry cloth towel.  Can also be applied with a hand sponge.  Please ensure that the rag or mop that you use is white, clean cotton or sponge.  Deck MAX Green may damage “plastic” rags or mops with glue and may cause staining to your deck. We recommend beginning with a small, inconspicuous area of your deck.

8) DeckMAX Green works best when deck board temperature on your deck is between 70 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

9)       64 oz. of DeckMAX Green will condition up to approximately 500 square feet.

10)       Allow deck to dry (approximately 30 minutes).
Tip— Depending on the surface temperature of your deck, humidity and air temperature your deck may take approximately 30 minutes to dry.  Keep children and pets away from deck until it is dry.   When your deck is dry to the touch you can use it as you normally would.   Please enjoy your newly cleaned and conditioned deck  after DeckMAX Green is completely dry as DeckMax Green can be harmful to children and pets until completely dry.

11)   You may replace your patio furniture as soon as your deck is dry.
You purchased a high-end deck that is far superior to wood decks.  DeckMAX Green will enhance the aesthetics of your deck in a short amount of time and with ease.   Wood decks require stripping, sanding, painting or staining, replacing boards that have rotted, days every season while this process is taking place where you cannot use your deck.  Not so with your PVC deck and DeckMAX Green.

13)   Reapply as often as you want.
Tip—DeckMAX Green leaves no measurable residual product after the product dries.  Unlike paint or stains which need to be striped prior to application, DeckMAX Green only requires a simple cleaning prior to application if your deck is dirty.
