Instructions for Application of Shutter Renu
DO NOT DILUTE SHUTTER RENU!
Shutter Renu should be applied when surface temperture is between 50 and 110 degrees. Do not apply Shutter ReNu if rain is forecasted within 24 hours of application.
1. Stir Shutter Renu gently. It is important not to create bubbles during stirring or applying of Shutter Renu. Pay close attention that no bubbles are created while applying product in corners or in between slats.
2.Clean shutters using Professional Grade Shutter Renu Cleaner included in the kit.

3. On clean, dry shutter, apply Shutter ReNu with a quality paintbrush.
(Note: Warning: Shutter Renu will restore the color of faded vinyl siding, so any product brushed on vinyl will change the color of the
vinyl.
4. Allow first coat to dry (30 minutes).
5. Apply a second coat. If shutters are extremely faded, may require third coat. Immediately wipe off any Shutter ReNu from glass windows with damp cloth.
6. Shutter Renu dries to the touch in less than 1 hour depending on temperture and humidity.. However, to achieve maximum protection Shutter Renu required 28 days to fully cure. During this time do not wash, scrub or spray anything onto your shutters.
Shutter Renu™ Professional Grade Cleaner Concentrate is specifically formulated to remove oxidation, dirt, mold and mildew from faded surfaces. For best results, the Cleaner should be diluted. DO NOT DILUTE SHUTTER RENU™-- only the Cleaner. This powerful cleaner can be used on many surfaces. Try it on your car's vinyl surfaces, such as running boards and vinyl seats.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Application Tip: If your shutters are heavily oxidated (white chalky powder) you may need to use a light duty wire bristle brush (such as Brillo pad) to remove chalking. Avoid scratching the vinyl itself. If you gently run your finger nail along the surface and it makes marks in the oxidation, you have not sufficiently removed the oxidation. Generally speaking this is only necessary for very heavily oxidated shutters.
1. Mix 1 part Shutter Renu™ Professional Grade Cleaner Concentrate to 9 parts water in a pump-up garden sprayer, bucket or spray bottle. For more on how to dilute click here.
2. Spray cleaner on no more than 2 shutters at a time.
3. Use a soft-bristled scrub brush to scrub shutters and in between
slats to remove ALL chalking, dirt, mold/mildew, etc. (any remaining
visibile dirt or mildew will still show under Shutter Renu's clear
coat).
4. Rinse thoroughly with a garden hose.
5. DO NOT ALLOW CLEANER TO DRY ON SURFACE. If cleaner
dries, re-wet shutter, scrub and rinse thoroughly. It is important
to remove ALL the cleaner before applying Shutter Renu™.
6. Allow the shutters to dry completely before applying Shutter
Renu™.
